Description

An introduction to a walking route through the urban landscape of Canterbury, as encountered through the textual landscapes of Russell Hoban’s Riddley Walker (1980) and the Anglo-Saxon poem Andreas (9th/10th century).

Two short talks by Dr Mike Bintley and Sonia Overall will introduce you to these works and the mapping and walking project ‘O what we ben!: Discovering Post-apocalyptic Landscapes in Andreas and Riddley Walker’.
