The 2018 conference will ask, how is Global Africa performed in the cultural, social and political arena today? Papers, performances and presentations that explore or engage with the performance of a Global African identity either on the continent or elsewhere in the diaspora are particularly encouraged.

Rates for AfTA Members

Early registration till 31 May: £120

Registration from 1 June or onsite: £160

Rate for Students

Students: £80

*Registration rates cover conference materials and lunch.

Please note that AfTA Membership fee for Jan-Dec. 2018 must be paid in order to participate in the conference. Delegates have the option of paying for their AfTA membership along with their conference registration. Delegates who have not paid their membership subscription for 2018 should pay it together with their conference registration by adding membership subscription to their basket.

The current membership subscription rates are:

Membership Subscription (Standard rate): £60

Membership Subscription (Student rate): £30

Membership Subscription (Africa/Caribbean-based): £30

Institutional Membership Subscription: £100
