Live Music - Love, Europe

13:10 - St Gregory’s Centre for Music

Valentine’s Day in Brexit Britain. Surprise yourself and encounter love from a dramatic, international angle! We are delighted to present superb professional duo Sarah Gabriel and pianist Gavin Roberts, performing songs by Rachmaninov, Poulenc, Kurt Weill and Richard Strauss, interspersed with brief comic and tragic scenes by playwrights including Pushkin, Molière and Chekhov performed by our own Drama and Performing Arts students. Experience laughter, tears, thrills and sighs of wistful longing as the artists perform fragments of celebrated European theatre and music.

Culturarium Drinks and Snacks

Italian Drama - “Local man burned alive in tent". Follow this adaptation of Pirandello's It is So (If You Think So), as a homeless community join together to solve the mystery haunting their streets. Gossip and suspicion flood the stage as they work to find a connection between the murder and two strangers who appear within the community. Are they the reason for his death?
