No Tail

'No Tail' was led by artist Ruth Ewan for the Arts Council funded project Out of the Ordinary Places.

Ruth invited residents of Strood to share their skills and knowledge of the town’s heritage, hidden stories, myths past and present, to be weaved into a subversive pantomime for the town.

James Frost ran community workshops and devised mask headdresses, shadow puppets, jig dolls and props for the show. The final performance took place at Temple Manor, a 13th century Knights Templar manor house owned by the National Trust.
