Augustine Hall
Augustine Hall provides a 450-seat auditorium for large concerts, performances and events. It is located in the University’s impressive Library and Student Services Centre, Augustine House, and is the largest hall in Canterbury city centre.
This impressive hall features:
- Rehearsal and performance space
- A fully equipped Green Room
- Professional audio visual, lighting and sounds systems
- Facilities for conference and events or exhibitions
Augustine House has a café serving drinks, snacks and light meals. The Hall has hosted, amongst other events, BBC Any Questions?, the Philharmonia’s Universe of Sound, and Anifest a Kent-based animation festival.
Getting there
The Augustine Hall is located on Rhodaus Town road, close to Canterbury City centre, next to Canterbury East railway station and opposite the bus station, making it easily accessible on foot and by public transport.

There is no public parking at Augustine House, except for disabled parking available to blue badge holders.
