This workshop explores a revitalised vision of higher education (HE) that realises more fully the potential of Education for Sustainability to contribute to the common good through civic engagement. It draws from a series of community-engaged internship initiatives at the University of Plymouth and discusses the positives, as well as challenges in the provision of applied, interdisciplinary and place-based approaches to HE.
