In response to C.G. Jung’s model of the psyche, in the 20th century there emerged a kind of psychological astrology. But what is the psyche, and can astrology really offer a map of it? Carole Taylor will explore the ‘psychologisation’ of astrology in the light of changing definitions of the psyche from ancient to contemporary times. The lecture does not presuppose any familiarity with astrology.
