A creative writing, performance and gardening workshop for people trying to put down roots. As part of Curious’s new performance Wild Longings (wildlongings.com) which celebrates diversity, interconnectivity and survival in times of upheaval and change, we offer this creative workshop as part of the UNESCO celebrations in Canterbury. UpRoot invites participants to explore notions of ‘home’ through the medium of plants, employing rooting and uprooting as metaphors for personal stories of belonging.
