L. van Beethoven, Piano Sonata in G major, Op.49 No.2 W.A. Mozart, Grand Sonate for Clarinet & Piano, K.581. A recital of solo and duo compositions by Beethoven and Mozart, performed by period-instrument specialists, Jane Booth and John Irving, including a rarely-heard 1809 duo arrangement of Mozart’s ever-popular Clarinet Quintet. Followed by a public masterclass, 2.30–4.30pm in St Gregory’s: Jane and John will work with our student performers; all welcome (free entry).
