The University is committed to giving students the skills and opportunities to succeed in exceptionally tough job markets and is working with partner colleges across London and the South East to deliver programmes that are flexible to your needs.

We have a number of strategic alliances with college groups located in London and the South East, in order to provide new opportunities for students from the communities served by their many colleges and campuses.

London South East Colleges University Centre

A strategic partner since 2013, our alliance has strengthened and grown in terms of both the number of Canterbury Christ Church University programmes being delivered at the college’s University Centre campuses across south east London. Together with portfolio growth, strategic liaison has evolved rapidly in terms of joint working in many complementary areas including research, enterprise and employability.

MidKent College

In June 2017, Canterbury Christ Church University signed an agreement to work with MidKent College in a formal strategic partnership. The alliance focusses on creating teaching excellence for the region and introducing progression from college to university which involves university input for students in their final year at the college in preparation for progression onto degrees at the University.

University Centre West Kent

Working together in strategic partnership has resulted in a growing portfolio of courses at the University Centre West Kent in Tonbridge, which hosts a variety of Canterbury Christ Church University’s courses, with plans to expand the joint portfolio further. Courses have a strong vocational focus and are designed to give graduates the best possible chance of succeeding in increasingly tough job markets.

Beginning with delivery of a single course from one of Canterbury Christ Church University’s faculties, this type of partnership is enriched by a model of partnership based on mutual support and working in unison. Collaborative partnerships form a solid basis for any future portfolio growth to complement the long-term strategies of both institutions.

Community partnerships raise the profile of Canterbury Christ Church University and place it firmly in the local community and economy. Arts and education and a wide variety of individual community projects are integral to firmly establishing the University in all of the communities in which it operates.
