Canterbury Christ Church University’s partnership with Aegean College is now closed for recruitment. The final intake of students was in January 2021.
As part of our commitment to internationalisation Canterbury Christ Church University signed a significant partnership agreement with Aegean College based in Athens. This agreement supports the development, delivery and quality assurance of a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to be taught in the Greek capital.
The decision to partner with Aegean College is based in common values and a commitment to providing the best possible access to professional higher education in and for the local context. The College is part of the OMIROS Educational Group, one of the oldest educational organizations in Greece. OMIROS was founded in 1946 initially as a network of schools specializing mainly in English language education. Since then OMIROS has developed into a multi-faceted educational group, having trained over three million students at its various branches.
Aegean College, a Greek Ministry of Education licensed institution, is renowned for assuring quality in education and is dedicated to developing innovative educational programs in partnership with European academic institutions and awarding bodies.
Aegean College degrees are validated, supported and quality assured by Canterbury Christ Church University in a range of specialisations and are completed while studying entirely in Greece.
The College’s campuses are located in the centre of Athens in new fully renovated buildings, housing state-of-the-art computer laboratories and classrooms; sound and TV studios; video suites; Physiotherapy, Psychometric, Speech & Language Therapy and Early Childhood Education Laboratories as well as In-House Clinics. The College’s lending library houses 10,000 English and Greek academic titles.
