Professor Sarah Greer

Professor Sarah Greer CBE has had a career in higher education spanning academic leadership, governance and public service. Most recently, she has served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Winchester and prior to this, as Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Worcester. A former barrister and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Sarah is also a National Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Sarah has also previously served as a General Commissioner of the Disabled Students’ Commission and has held a number of public appointments relating to higher education.

Sarah was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours 2025 for services to higher education.
