Ms Alison Sear

Alison joined the University as Assistant Solicitor in 2014 after eight years at Sony Europe where she was part of an in-house legal team, specialising in international trade law. Prior to that she spent five years at the fashion house Burberry, advising on commercial law with a focus on Burberry’s global licensing arrangements. In the public sector she has advised on regulatory, broadcasting and competition law at the Radio Authority (the commercial radio regulator pre-OFCOM). Alison is a qualified Solicitor and has held a practising certificate since 2005.
