Mr Ali Ghega
Student Governor
Ali Ghega is an international undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business Management at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU). He currently serves as the Union President, focusing on supporting liberation groups and minorities within the university. Originally from Pakistan, Ali brings a multicultural perspective to his leadership role, using his personal experiences to advocate for inclusivity and student engagement.
Having completed his foundation year and first year of Business Management, Ali is now taking a one-year intermission from his studies. His background in sports, particularly as the captain of his school’s cricket team, has helped shape his leadership style and teamwork approach. Ali remains actively involved in CCCU’s international student community and is always keen to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
