Jon Opaye Tetteh

Jon Opaye-Tetteh is the University’s Director of Equity and Inclusion and brings a rich background in public service, having previously held roles in policing and at the Financial Ombudsman Service. His career reflects a longstanding commitment to fairness, transparency, and supporting underrepresented communities.

In his current role, he leads strategic initiatives to ensure that decision-making across the university is inclusive, values-driven, and compliant with the Equality Act 2010. He is deeply embedded in the university community, working closely with academic and professional services staff, student representatives, and staff networks.

He contributes actively to several university committees and as a member of the Governing Body; he is committed to upholding the university’s values during a time of transformation in Higher Education.
