Joe Butler-Moor

Joe currently serves as Union President of the Christ Church Students' Union, having completed his undergraduate degree in Law with Politics at Canterbury Christ Church University. Immersed in the Christ Church community since 2022, he has been involved with many clubs and societies, particularly as a committee member of D&D and Musical Theatre, and as a member of the Rugby Club. Joe brings a thorough knowledge of the student experience, combined with his legal/political education, which he uses to advocate for engagement and inclusivity within the Christ Church community.

Having completed his degree in Law with Politics, Joe hopes to make a positive impact at the University before starting a career in politics. His approach to collaborative leadership and discussion has been directly shaped by his experiences at Christ Church: from his time in team sports to politics lecturers leading open conversations and finding points of similarity in diverse groups. Joe remains an active member of the Canterbury Christ Church Community, citing it as one of the University's greatest strengths and a rare example of unity between groups in an ever-dividing world.
