Ruth Rogers has worked as an academic for CCCU since 2002. Starting as a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Education, she is now a Reader in Social Justice and Inclusion in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Education at CCCU. She teaches on various undergraduate courses in the School of Humanities and Educational Studies and is the Course Director for the Doctorate of Education. She is also the University College Union representative for the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Education.

Prior to joining CCCU, Ruth was a Research Fellow at the Nottingham University and the University of Bedfordshire. She was awarded her PhD in Sociology from Brunel University London in 2001.
