Welcome from the uniform team to the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Social Care.

As part of starting your studies here at Canterbury Christ Church University, you will be invited to attend a uniform measure and issue event. You will be welcomed by the CCCU uniform team and our uniform supplier, Alexandra. At the event, you will be fitted and supplied with your uniform, which you will wear on placement and during simulation sessions.

If you don’t receive your full allocation of uniform at the Measure and Issue event, don’t worry. The uniform team are aware of your first placement date and will do all we can to support you with this. You can find a table with all of the uniform allocations, by course, in the drop-down below. You are entitled to the garments free of charge, which are expected to last you the duration of your course.

Students are advised to abide by the Trust uniform policy with regards to footwear. However, the typical principles are that they are black, close-toed shoes that are low heeled/flat with non-slip soles. They must be made of a wipeable material, ideally leather or ‘leather look’ due to the risk of encountering spillages and bodily fluids. Commonly within Trusts we work with, crocs or trainer style shoes are not allowed to be worn.

Child Nursing
