There are many opportunities to get involved in the Arts and Culture activities on campus during your studies. These events are open to all students, no matter what you are studying.
We are always interested in hearing from students. Do you have an idea for a concert, exhibition or event? We can help you make it happen, even if you’ve never organised something like this before. Get in touch!
CCCU has a wide range of concerts, performances, workshops, exhibitions and other activities all throughout the year. Most of these events are free for students, although sometimes booking is required.
To find out more, you can visit the Student Events Hub and follow us on Social Media.
There are always festivals, concerts, performances and exhibitions taking place in Canterbury, Medway and across Kent.
The Arts and Culture works with lots of arts organisations to find special opportunities for students to gain work experience and to get free tickets to events.
You can find out more about the arts organisations that we work with her:
The Arts and Culture team offers paid internships for students that run from October to June. Students gain experience running a wide variety of events, creating social media content, and managing our box offices systems. This programme gives interns valuable real-world experience of working in the arts.
All of our employment opportunities are advertised through Unitemps and we would encourage anyone who is interested in working with us, to register. These opportunities are also open to all current students, regardless of course. We have previously had interns from all Faculties.
We also have a limited number of unpaid volunteer opportunities for students throughout the year for students who would like to gain a little bit of work experience.
CCCU students studying creative courses have lots of opportunities to showcase their work through exhibitions, workshops, concerts, and performances.
