The Verena Holmes Gallery is situated on the ground floor of the University’s flagship Verena Holmes building, and features a rolling programme of exhibitions showcasing creative projects that link to the subjects based in the building. Previous shows have involved Nursing, Archaeology, Sports Science and Psychology.

Underpinning the programme is a drive to be socially engaging, inclusive and collaborative and to deliver consistently exceptional exhibitions for the University community and beyond.

Visiting the Gallery

Verena Holmes Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Verena Holmes Building on our North Holmes Road campus.

Normal opening hours during exhibition dates

Day Time
Monday – Friday 10:00 – 16:00

Please note that the gallery may occasionally have events and concerts during these times.

If you would like to visit the gallery outside of these hours, Arts and Culture staff may be able to accommodate these requests. please email the Arts and Culture team: artsandculture@canterbury.ac.uk

Accessing the Gallery

There is step-free access to the exhibition space and accessible toilet facilities on the premises. If you have any additional access requirements or would like to discuss arrangements for your visit in advance, please email the Arts and Culture team: artsandculture@canterbury.ac.uk
