Advice for web authors
New FrontPage web authors
All new web authors whose departmental websites have not yet migrated to the new Content Management System, Contensis, should receive training from the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit (LTEU) in how to use the design templates in FrontPage before editing pages on the University website. Edit permissions can only be allocated after this course has been completed.
For more information, contact the Administrative Assistant in the Training Unit on ext. 3074 to reserve places or email training.it@canterbury.ac.uk.
Further details about the two-part Authoring University Web Pages course, including dates, can be found on the LTEU website.
Training in content management system, Contensis
As Departmental websites migrate into Contensis from FrontPage in a phased programme, existing web authors will be offered training in the new content management system in tandem with the migration process.
