Tutorial Support
Small Group Support
If you have any fellow students who would like to work on a
similar aspect of your academic skills, why not arrange to come
in a small group? We can offer mini-workshops on study
skills topics such as referencing, critical analysis, essay
structure, reading and note-taking, presentation skills,
revision and exams etc. Appointments for small group
support can be made via telephone or email.
Individual Tutorials
We also offer one-to-one tutorials appointments for students. These sessions are thirty minutes long and take place at a mutually suitable venue such as the consultation rooms in Augustine House, Canterbury or a small study room at one of the Campuses. Appointments take place on most week days according to availability. We will try to arrange an appointment for you as soon as possible. In addition to our tutorial appointments, we encourage students to make use of all the study support resources available such as our workshop programme, small group tutorials and the Study Support Blackboard.
The Student Study Support Blackboard
The Student Study Support Blackboard contains a vast range of information on all aspects of study support including details of our workshops, materials from our workshops and links to a wide variety of resources which will support your study. You can find the Student Study Support Blackboard by clicking the Student Support tab on Blackboard and following the link to Student Study Support Blackboard.
