How often have you had
a problem with someone, but decided there’s no point in
trying to discuss it?
Have you ever had thoughts like:
- I always end up feeling like it's my fault.
- There is no point in talking to him, he won't listen.
I'm going to end up paying the bills again.
- She agrees when we talk about it, but doesn't actually
do anything.
- It'll be quicker and easier if I do it myself.
When two people get into difficulty they tend to behave
in a limited set of ways. Before you start talking you
know the outcome that you want, but you also know, from
experience, that it won't work out that way.
This workshop is to help you look at ways of achieving a
different and more helpful outcome.
We will do this by exploring:
- How you and others interact
- How to understand those interactions
- How you can influence someone else's style of
interacting by changing yours.
