Old Sessions House, Rooms Og32 and Og46
Powell lecture theatre
Ramsey lecture theatre
Augustine Hall
Consultation rooms in Augustine House
A portable radio aid and microphone is available on short-term loan from the Disability Advice Team
Fire
Alarms
If you are unable to hear Fire Alarms, you must inform the
Disability AdviceTeam, if you are a student or your group leader
or conference organiser if you are visiting the University.
Alternative arrangements will then be made for you, such as
provision of a DeafAlerter pager.
Hearing spoken instructions
In the event of an emergency, spoken instructions may be given
to occupants of buildings. If you are unable to hear spoken
instructions, you must inform the Disability Advice Team if you
are a student, or your group leader or conference organiser if
you are visiting the University. Alternative arrangements will
then be made for you.
If your preferred method of communication is something other than the spoken word i.e. BSL or lip reading, please contact the Disability Advice Team if you are a student. You will be advised on how to obtain funding for this support and help you to contact the providers.
Visitors who require communication support should contact their group leader, conference organiser or member of staff receiving them.
