Student support

The Department provides a range of information, advice and guidance services, as well as facilities to enhance the student experience at the University. In addition we are responsible for a number of University procedures and give help to staff in respect of student support and guidance issues.

The Department of Student Support and Guidance has three main service delivery areas:

  • Employability and Careers Services
    (Including the Careers Advisory Service, Employability Services, CV checking, JobShop, Volunteering, and the 'Destination of Leavers' Survey).

  • i-zone
    (the University's central enquiry and call-logging service for all our student-facing departments and services).

  • Student Support Services
    (Including Student Welfare Services, Counselling and Mental Well-being, Disability Advice, Student International Advice, Student Study Support, Student Health and Financial Support).
