Development opportunities for professional service staff are offered primarily within Christ Church by the Staff Development Office and the IT training team based in LTEU.

The provision and services offered by both are detailed in the Staff Development brochure and respective websites. Commitment to ensuring staff are able to maximise current and future potential is a high priority at the University and there should be something for everyone on offer. See below for suggested useful links and resources.

We have also highlighted useful information to help you plan your development as it can be difficult to know where to start. You may find it particularly helpful to look at the professional service staff pathways page and case histories which set out example development routes followed by other staff.

If you do not find the information you need here or would like additional guidance please contact the Staff Development Office for a 1:1 meeting.

Funding

All Staff Development events provided internally are currently free of charge. Funds are also held centrally to support further qualifications. See Further Qualifications section.

Faculties/Departments also hold local staff development funds for external workshops, seminars and conferences, skills training and study support such as books.
