Development opportunities for academic staff are offered by a range of central University services, principally the Learning and Teaching Unit, the Research Office and Graduate School, Quality & Standards Unit and the Staff Development Office.
For information about their provision look at the staff development brochure and respective websites. Commitment to staff development at Christ Church is a high priority at the University and shoud find support for their CPD available.
Below are some specific suggestions of ideas as it can be difficult to know where to start. You may find it particularly helpful to look at the academic staff pathways link and case histories.
Please contact the Staff Development Office for a 1:1 meeting if you cannot find what you need here via the who to contact page.
Funding
All Staff Development events provided internally are currently free of charge. Funds are also held centrally to support further qualifications, study leave and innovation via the Development Leave Scheme.
Faculties/Departments also hold local staff development funds such as external workshops, seminars and conferences and host their own events.
