Right First Time: How to use the University Processes for new Programme Development

All academic HODs, Programme Directors and Leaders considering submitting an application for a new academic programme.

Brief outline:

The University has a clear procedure led by the Planning Office for the set up of new academic programmes.

If you are planning to submit an application in the coming academic year then you will find this session helpful, to ensure you have done the preparation necessary to stand your application in good stead.

The session will cover:

  • How to complete the form to ensure best chance of success at the panel stage

  • Consider the financial and business rationale you need and answer questions you may have about the process

  • What makes for a successful application.
