Disabled Students - Resources & Responsibilities for all staff

Essential for all staff

Brief outline:

A practical, interactive session for all staff members (but especially helpful to newer members) which introduces our responsibilities under relevant disability legislation.

What you can expect to learn:

  • How to avoid discriminating against disabled people whether staff, students or visitors
  • How to interact positively with disabled people in day to day situations
  • A review of how inclusive your current work practices are and what you can do to make them more accessible
  • Personal action planning, including how to make reasonable adjustments
  • How to review current work practices to ensure they are inclusive and accessible.
