Microsoft Project

Target audience:

Those responsible for organising, administrating and managing projects and who wish to use the enhanced features of MS Project 2007 to setup, monitor and control their project related activities.

Brief outline:

A one day course which will show how MS Project 2007 enhanced features can support the organising and scheduling of project plans and costings.

What you can expect to learn:

  • Identifying project objectives, constraints and available resources
  • Scheduling tasks and milestones
  • Identifying the critical tasks
  • Production of Gantt charts and Network diagrams
  • Assigning resources and their associated costs
  • Resolving resource conflicts
  • Monitoring and controlling projects using tracking techniques and Earned Value analysis
  • Filtering, sorting and printing project reports.

Note: No previous knowledge of MS Project 2007 is required but some experience of project work recommended. Places are limited.
