IOSH 3 day Supervising Safely Course

Suitable for any member of staff tasked with monitoring and maintaining Health & Safety within their departments.

Brief outline:

A nationally recognised 3 day course accredited by IOSH. The final day includes an assessment comprising a short examination and the completion of a practical assignment.

The course provides those who have responsibility for others with the relevant knowledge and skills required to supervise safely and therefore be able to contribute to the University’s overall safety performance.

The course is certificated by IOSH and the accreditation is for a period of three years.

What you can expect to learn:

  • General health and safety legal duties
  • The role of the supervisor/health and safety representative
  • Risk assessment process
  • Accident and incident reporting and investigation
  • Active and reactive monitoring techniques.
