The University is strongly committed to ensuring all of its' staff are
able to access development which is timely, appropriate and relevant,
believing as it does that this adds immense value at both an
organisational and individual level.
Staff Development policy development is led by the Staff Development
Office, as part of the Human Resources Department. An amended version of
the policy has
recently been approved by SMT in the Autumn of 2009, please

The University Staff Development policy is further supported by specific
