This year's annual conference focused on relevant themes of topical interest connected to the overall student experience but particularly student learning. The intention was to organise a conference that facilitates the sharing of ideas, experience and practice looking both internally and externally.
The full programme and presentations from the conference can be downloaded here
The conference was opened by the Vice Chancellor Professor Michael Wright followed by presentations from 3 external speakers offering differing viewpoints regarding transition, transformation and evolution in HE academic curriculum - what it should be, needs to be, what purpose does it (should it) serve?
The remainder of Wednesday and all day Thursday was structured around a number of workshops offering ease of access to as much or as little for staff to attend as they wish.
On Friday morning closed the Conference with presentations from members of the SMT and an external speaker, Peter Hopkinson of the University of Bradford on their interpretation of Transitions, Transformation, Evolution in HE.
