The University offers an extensive programme of sport and recreational opportunities at every sporting level for all members of the University. We are here to provide support and guidance to each of our sports clubs and its members. A large number of these clubs compete in the British Universities And Colleges Sport (BUCS).  Others also take part in regional competitions such as the Southern England Students Sports Association (SESSA) and the weekly local league fixtures.

The general sports that we cater for include badminton, basketball, football, hockey, netball, rugby and tennis. These and many more are involved in the BUCS championships. As for other activities which are involved in competitions and relevant leagues, these include karate, lacrosse, swimming and Taekwondo. All the clubs on offer are run by the Students' Union Sports and Societies Sabbatical Officer, so please visit the Students Union website at http://www.ccsu.co.uk where all sports and societies on offer are available.

If you are interested in other activities within the Canterbury area then information is available from the Canterbury City Council Sports Directory.
