Registry

Being a Graduation Steward is a voluntary role and therefore you do not receive any payment for your efforts.  What we offer in return for your hard work, is additional tickets to your own Graduation.  Each graduating student is guaranteed 2 guest tickets, but for every Graduation shift worked you would be allocated 1 additional ticket.  A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 Graduation shifts can be worked. 

Stewarding roles can include the following:

• Marshalling of guests on campus
• Registration of graduands
• Assisting with robes and photography
• Collecting Cathedral/Campus ceremony tickets
• Showing guests & staff to their seats
• Marshalling graduands
• Assisting with the car parking
• Assisting with the setting up of the Cathedral/Campus
• Answering general enquiries
  (This is not a definitive list but just some examples)

If you are a current student (not yet completed your studies) and would like to register your interest in becoming a Steward please email the Graduation & Registry Events Office at registry.stewards@canterbury.ac.uk.

DUE TO THE LARGE RESPONSE WE CANNOT
ACCEPT ANY MORE STEWARD REQUESTS AT THE MOMENT.
