Tuition Fees
Since 1998, Home and EU students entering Higher Education
have contributed toward their tuition fees.
Your contribution will depend on your income and that of your
family. Home students can apply for a tuition
fee loan and a maintenance loan to help
towards living costs. For financial assistance contact Student Finance at
Directgov where you can apply online.
From 2006/7 Variable Tuition Fees were introduced. Details of
Tuition Fee Loans, Bursaries, Scholarships and Maintenance Loans
and Grants which may be available to you can be accessed
here.
As a publicly funded provider
of higher education in England who has decided to charge tuition
fees above the standard level, we are required to produce an
access agreement. This agreement should set out how we will
safeguard and promote fair access - in particular for students
from low income groups - through bursary and other financial
support and outreach work.
If you have any questions or queries regarding student funding,
please feel free to contact us.
