Supporting staff to get it right first time.

The Quality and Standards Office has set up an email support service to provide a rapid response solution-service for academic and professional service staff.

This is aimed at promoting a better understanding of the regulations, frameworks, policies and procedures of the University across all staff, and especially to offer support at the point of contact with the ‘rules’ and where uncertainty might prevail.

If you are not sure in your understanding of a regulatory or procedural matter, then this service is for you. To access the service, please email your question to:

This email account will be manned by Quality and Standards staff, who will aim to provide an answer within one working day of receipt.

Calls will be logged, to determine common themes. Once a theme emerges, the production of appropriate briefing documentation or other training will be triggered. Also, staff teams may request a staff training session on regulatory or procedural matters. Please email QSO.Support@canterbury.ac.uk to request and discuss this bespoke service.
