The Academic Board has approved the Postgraduate Academic Framework, which provides the regulatory arrangements for all taught postgraduate work.

Unlike validations, which are limited to five years, the Postgraduate Academic Framework will remain in place until such time as the University decides to change the arrangements. There will be periodic reviews of the Framework, and adjustments made where this is necessary.

THE FRAMEWORK

This paper provides an overview of the Postgraduate Academic Framework. This is a background paper, and not part of the Framework.

This is the Framework that forms the basis of programme validations.
