Working in Partnership

Our work is all about partnership and collaboration. Our team is dedicated to developing relationships with internal and external partners to enable us to work more effectively and meet our aim of raising aspirations for higher education. We deem all our collaborations and communication with all colleagues as important partnerships and work with a wide range of people across Kent and Medway.

Our partnerships

We have a long term commitment with three local Academies sponsoring The Dover Christ Church Academy; The John Wallace Academy and The Bishop of Rochester Academy.

The Outreach and Partnerships Team have also designed and developed Progression Accords with a number of local schools. Through this agreement we offer progression and advisory support to the school/colleges pupils.

We have links with the Helena Kennedy Foundation to support our work. The Foundation exists to overcome social injustice by providing financial bursaries, mentoring and support to disadvantaged students from the further and adult education sectors, enabling them to complete their studies in higher education and move on successfully into employment.

We are proud to have the Frank Buttle Trust Quality Mark which is a statement of commitment to support care leavers at CCCU.

We are always looking for new and exciting ways to work with our partners. If you are interested in working closer with The Outreach and Partnerships Team, or would like more information please contact us.

Clarendon House Grammar School has enjoyed strong links with CCCU. Whole school year visits to the University by our Year 11 and Year 9 students have been particularly beneficial in raising their awareness of Higher Education and the possibilities that this might hold for them"
