Sue Kendall-Seatter
Director of Partnerships
Sue Kendall-Seatter was appointed Director of Partnerships in May 2011. Sue is responsible for managing four aspects of Canterbury Christ Church University's important Partnership work: Widening Participation (through the Outreach and Partnerships Team), International Partnerships, Public Service Partnerships and the Broadstairs and Folkestone Campuses.
Prior to this role, Sue skillfully managed the Primary Education Department in the Faculty of Education, with the department receiving Grade 1 OFSTED outcomes for a number if years.

Julia Willis
Assistant to the Director of Partnerships
Julia began her role as PA to the Director of Partnerships in May 2011. Julia supports Sue Kendall-Seatter in all aspects of partnership working, in particular liaising with external organisations and monitoring the development of new partnerships, both nationally and internationally.
Prior to this appointment, Julia was the Lead Administrator on the iTeach programme at Canterbury Christ Church University. This work involved all aspects of the administration for this online teaching programme including recruitment, admissions and student placements.
Julia also worked at Pfizer for eight years, working for the Director of Strategic Development and latterly for the Vice President of Discovery, PGRD.

Wendy Ellis
Manager
Wendy's passion is people and their diversity. Her background has taken her through a number of roles including work with mature and international students. Wendy guides the operational work of the office and helps broaden the focus by connecting with both internal and external partners to offer our support to the full range of potential students.
"I enjoy meeting people, forging new partnerships and explaining the good work done by the OPT office."
Wendy's responsibilities include:

Day-to-day management of the Outreach and Partnerships work with schools, colleges and academies

Main contact for the local language schools

Co-ordinates the Award Scheme (£25 book token and certificate for the student who has made the greatest progress)

Attends Faculty WP meetings and other internal meetings, as appropriate.
Jacey Jonnson
Project Officer
Jacey is Project Lead for programmes and events and has worked within the Widening Participation sphere since 2004. Jacey has a passion for working with young people and a gift for connecting with a wide range of partners and pupils. She has successfully managed the Associate Scheme (now the Ambassador Scheme), since its inception in 2008 and has gained national recognition for the delivery of the project. Thanks to Jacey, the Ambassador Scheme at Christ Church has supported over 300 Kent pupils into Higher Education.
"I really like the organisation of events and programmes and seeing how you can change people's perception of higher education through them."
Jacey's responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinating the work of the Ambassadors (undergraduates who go into our partner schools as part of our Mentoring Scheme).
- Being the main contact for schools in Canterbury and Medway.
- Primarily responsible for delivering the Offer of the Outreach and Partnerships Team and preparing the materials required to support delivery.
Sarah Roberts
Project Officer
Sarah started with the team in September 2011 and is keen to develop the aspirations of the Outreach and Partnerships Team particularly with regard to raising the profile, and CCCU's commitment, to care leavers at our institution. Sarah will also be raising awareness of the team's remit by creating a vibrant web presence and supporting the team in the collection and analysis of data that will further focus the team's outreach efforts.
"I strongly believe that education is not just about getting a qualification, it's a whole lot more; and I hope to be able to promote this message in my role."
Sarah's responsibilities include:
- Designated Member of Staff to support Care Leavers prior to entering CCCU.
- Maintaining The Outreach and Partnership Team website.
- Data analysis and reporting in conjunction with the Planning Office.
- Main contact for schools in the Thanet area.
