The Outreach and Partnerships Team is committed to inspiring the next generation of students to aspire to higher education. Our work is motivated by our belief in inclusive education and a commitment to ensure fair access to higher education to people from all sections of society. We aim to enable suitably qualified young people to access the potential benefits and rewards of higher education and to fulfil their potential regardless of their background.
A key aspect of our mission is a belief that our work is not only about access, but that it includes a focus on providing a high quality learning experience. We will work with our partners to support student progression and to ensure that every student receives a higher education experience that helps and encourages them to succeed.
To be effective, The Outreach and Partnerships Team rely on the development of effective partnerships and collaborations. We aim to work closely with our partners to ensure that we inspire all young people, including those from low participating groups and successfully increase access to higher education.
The university reports how it intends to support student groups that do not traditionally access higher education to the Office of Fair Access (OFFA). For more information, see our Access Agreement.
