Department of Marketing and Communications

Our main aim is to co-ordinate and to promote a strategic, institution-wide approach to recruitment marketing planning and implementation and to ensure that the University’s positioning, values and Strategic Plan priorities are clearly communicated and reflected in everything that we do.

Our team of experienced Marketing Managers works directly with staff in faculties, campuses and professional services where there is recruitment impact to:

  • identify the best opportunities to promote the University’s work and reputation to relevant target audiences
  • plan out high impact marketing activity to maximise business and recruitment potential
  • deliver cost effective and professional digital, print and broadcast marketing campaigns.

Much of our operational work is delivered in close collaboration with Design and Production in order to ensure:

  • Brand consistency across all marketing communications
  • Quality control
  • Cost control.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Managers, our Market Research Officer and Marketing Research Assistant also provides critical market intelligence and analysis to help shape future programmes and business services.
