People engaged on salaried terms will be expected to work to
a defined job description setting out roles and responsibilities
of their post commensurate with its grade.
Payment
Payment is made automatically on the last working day of each
month based on the grade, spine point and
full time equivalent (fte) of the post.
Status and access rights.
Staff engaged on salaried terms will, on appointment, be provided with an employee number, username and initial password along with instructions as to how to access their IT account setup process. They will receive a University email account and have full access to the staff intranet (staffnet) and blackboard. Additional access to university information systems and smartcard controlled areas will be granted based on the requirements of the post.
