Risk Assessment

It is the policy of Canterbury Christ Church University to undertake work activity risk assessments for all employees and to implement suitable control measures to minimise risk identified as a result of the risk assessment process.

Heads of Department are responsible for ensuring work activity risk assessments are carried out, monitored for suitability and reviewed to reflect any significant changes to work activities.

It is the responsibility of the head of department to implement the control measures identified as a result of the risk assessment process.

Heads of Department may delegate the risk assessment task to a departmental health and safety representative or a nominated representative of employee safety.
