When calling Emergency Services
When summoning the emergency services, it is vital they are given clear directions to the location of the incident.
Immediately after summoning the emergency service inform the Security Lodge if on the North Holmes Road Campus or the Main Reception for all other sites regarding the nature and location of the incident so that the emergency service can be directed as required.
Defribillators
Defibrillators are held in the Sport Science and Tourism department and at the Canterbury Christ Church Sport Centre. Staff at both locations are fully trained in the use of defibrillators. The provision of defibrillators at other locations throughout the University is kept under constant review by the University Health and Safety Advisor.
