Reception
Reception staff are the first point of contact for most visitors and they do their utmost to create a positive and helpful impression of the University. There are four reception locations within the Canterbury Campus. These are located in The Old Sessions House (TOSH), Rochester House, Augustine House, and Hall Place.
In order to provide the best customer service, the team need to be kept informed of forthcoming events and activities. All University staff can greatly assist the work of the reception staff by giving advance notice of:
Any expected visitors (time of arrival, where they should be directed/who will meet them etc.) Pre-arranged parking permits requested via the University web pages can be made available from TOSH reception. Please ensure your visitors are made aware of the new parking regulations in force. Holiday and other periods when departmental staff will be unavailable. Short courses, conferences and meetings which are additional to the usual timetable.
Reception staff hold basic information such as maps of the campus and other sites, emergency telephone numbers and have access to the University web pages for other information. Opening times are as follows:
