North Holmes Road (Phase One) Refurbishment
North Holmes Road Phase 1 refurbishment development converted the vacated library and other spaces into further teaching space following the moves to Augustine House.
The key principles of this refurbishment project were:
- To provide sufficient teaching and learning space to meet the current academic plan for the University
- To provide suitable accommodation solutions to departments and teams at/or moving to North Holmes Road Campus
- To commence the rationalisation of the University estate in line with the Estates Strategy
- To take into account the known space issues emerging from the current space audit
