‘Drop in’ sessions:

Canterbury - come and see us on the ground floor of Augustine house (look for the banner) at the following times:

  • Monday: 1.00-3.00pm
  • Tuesday: 10.00am-12.00pm
  • Wednesday: 1.00-3.00pm
  • Thursday: 10.00am-12.00pm
  • Friday: 1.00-3.00pm

Drop in sessions are useful for quick queries, for example getting feedback on a CV or application form.

 

Quick query sessions:

The Careers Adviser quick query sessions are 15 minutes long, taking place every Wednesday and Friday at 3.00, 3.15, 3.30 and 3.45pm. To book a quick query slot, email careers@canterbury.ac.uk with your availability. Alternatively you can book a slot at the drop in desk (times above).

These sessions are designed to deal with:

  • checking personal and supporting statements for postgraduate, graduate and PGCE applications

  • starting to look at career options according to degree subject

  • reflect on and refine answers in preparation for interview

  • focussed advice on how to use and understand information relating to your chosen career/course e.g. subject-specific websites

 

One to One appointments: can be booked for a confidential guidance interview and offers you an opportunity to discuss career plans, further study options or application advice but on a one to one basis. Please contact us to make an appointment.
