The Domain Services Team is led by Andy Powell, and is
responsible for the development, deployment and support of the
University's Windows based servers and services.
These services include the Active Directory, network storage (N drives and departmental shares), the Exchange email system, IIS based web servers and many of the database systems supporting products such as Blackboard.
In doing so, Domain Services are a spearhead for SAN & virtualisation technology within Computing Services.
Domain Services are also the team that deals with Computing Service's in-house back-end application development for the numerous projects the department is tasked to deliver.
