Guidelines for purchasing personal equipment for students and staff at Canterbury Christ Church University.
Hardware:
In accordance with the University Financial Regulations,
Computing Services should not purchase equipment on behalf of
university members. However, under the terms of the Southern
Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) agreement staff and students can
benefit from competitive prices as offered to the University by SUPC Suppliers.
If staff and students wish to purchase IT equipment and benefit from the
competitive prices negotiated by SUPC they should refer to the
links for suppliers' contact details given below.
You will be provided with a list of SUPC suppliers web site
addresses and contact names. When you contact the supplier
you will need to advise them that you are a member of staff or a student of
Canterbury Christ Church University and that you understand that
under the terms of the SUPC Agreement you should be able to
benefit from the prices negotiated by the University.
